“Be the change you want to see in the world.”
This simple saying has always resonated with me. It is time we take action and become the change we aspire to see in our world — our state. We can no longer afford to let our elected officials fail us by prioritizing large corporations and Washington over our well-being.
I have witnessed firsthand the struggles faced by our communities, particularly in the West Virginia Coal Fields. Growing up in various parts of this region, I have watched our neighborhoods be continuously neglected and left behind.
In 2013, I moved to Beckley and began working in the restaurant industry. I attended the University of Charleston, earning a bachelors degree in business administration, and eventually opened my own restaurant. I have had the privilege of spending the last 13 years living and working alongside you and serving our communities.
As a proud father of three, I am doing this for them. To protect their future and ensure they have a fair chance in this world. When they learn about today’s events and ask me “Daddy, what did you do?” I want to be able to say, “I tried. I tried to make a difference for you.”
I am committed to fighting for the betterment of our communities, our state, and YOU.
